Ignite your child’s passion for learning and leadership with 4-H Alberta! Our thriving community nurtures youth through hands-on projects in life skills, science, technology, agriculture, community involvement, and public speaking. Give them the 4-H advantage!
The 4-H motto is "Learn To Do By Doing." Projects offered, based on interest and leader availability may include: Arts and Crafts, Outdoor Pursuits, DnD gaming, Foods, Video Game Development, Woodworking and Exploring 4-H.

Members will participate in fun projects and learn through hands on experiences designed to increase knowledge, track their progress and give them a sense of accomplishment and good self-esteem.
Our city-based club is unique as we don’t offer the traditional beef, horse, and other livestock projects that many are familiar with, but instead offer a wide range of life-skills projects, based on interest & youth enrollment.
Members will meet at least once a month in a group setting with leaders to practice and master the materials.
Project Meetings are NOT held at Bellevue Community Centre, but at various locations as coordinated by project leaders. Only business meetings are held at Bellevue.
4-H is designed to be inclusive for families, allowing multiple children of different ages to participate in the same club and sometimes even at the same time. Parent involvement is also key in the success of a 4-H club.
Commitment
Along with the monthly project specific group get-togethers, commitment also includes attending one club business meeting a month (on the first Thursday of the month) following Robert's Rules of Order.
A President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and other key positions are all filled by the youth in our club. Parents are usually in attendance at these meetings to provide guidance & support.
4-H members also must complete a record book tracking project progress & activities.
Another requirement is participation in Highway Clean Up, and Achievement Day. Our club also participates in regular fun outings like laser tag & archery, a 4-H Regional Life Skills Fair, and the 4-H Communications (Public Speaking) Competition.
More About 4-H
